Our opening keynote brought powerful insights from some of the top minds in energy:
♦ Gwenaelle Avice Huet of Schneider Electric reminded us that "Competitiveness is good for the energy transition", urging the industry to prioritise skills, innovation, and action.
♦ Gianni Vittorio Armani of Enel Group emphasised that "this is more than a transition, it is a transformation", pointing to the increasing demand for reliable electricity and infrastructure expansion.
♦ Greg Jackson of Octopus Energy had a bold statement, explaining that, with the sharp drop in renewable energy prices, "it would be mad to build gas".
♦ Duarte Bello of EDP focused on electrification, stating that "our biggest innovation challenge is electrification", calling for a push to win support from stakeholders and governments.

From inspiring sessions to game-changing conversations, it was full of energy (pun intended!). Here’s a quick look at what happened on day 2:
💛 The Digital Tech Hub and the Grid Innovation Hub were packed, buzzing with great discussions, ideas and solutions that are fast-tracking the energy transition.
💛 The show floor continued to facilitate connections, interactive demos, and exciting networking opportunities, making sure no corner of the energy landscape was left unexplored.
💛 We also saw AI take over at the Digitalisation Hub and the Summit, showcasing how artificial intelligence is revolutionising the way we think about energy systems.

They are Energiot from Spain, Danish Reblade and Synergi from Finland. The competition was fierce with all participants giving very professional pitches, but the three winning start-ups stood out as genuine accelerators of the energy transition.
