Country Pavilions convene the strength and innovation of international businesses with decision-makers in the European energy market. These are the Country / Region Pavilions that will be present in Milan.

A large number of Basque companies with extensive experience in the field of smart grids have joined the “Smart Grids Basque Country” brand, created by the Basque Energy Cluster to merge forces, project their capacities and place the Basque Country as a global benchmark in this field of great projection.
During Enlit Europe 2024, the Basque Energy Cluster (Cluster de Energía) will bring 8 associated companies to the “Smart Grids Basque Country” pavilion to showcase the best of what is being made in the Basque Country.
Visitors to the Smart Grids Basque Country Pavilion will experience how innovative Basque companies are and how they work on the challenges of smart grids and the strong collaboration that exists between partners in industry, utilities, government agencies, universities and R&D centers.
The pavilion is hosted by the Basque Energy Cluster (Cluster de Energía) and it will be the place where the following companies will be showcasing their solutions on stands 7.E20 and 7.F10 (Hall 7).

During Enlit Europe 2024, Bavaria will bring 10 associated companies to the Bavarian Pavilion to showcase the best of what is being made in Bavaria.
Visitors to the Bavarian Pavilion will experience how innovative Bavarian companies are and how they work on the existing and ahead lying challenges, and the strong collaboration that exists between partners in industry, utilities, government agencies, universities, and R&D centers.
The pavilion is hosted by Bayern International and the following companies will be showcasing their solutions on stand 5.B50 (Hall 5).

Italian Energy Landscape
Italy is at the forefront of environmental protection, energy security, and the reduction of polluting emissions, aligning with the European Union's goals. Tasked with formulating a proposal for the 2030 National Energy and Climate Plan, Italy has devised an ambitious strategy to significantly contribute to the Energy Union's goals.
The initial segment of the plan delineates the country's targets regarding renewable energy, emissions reduction, and energy efficiency. Encouraging forecasts from energy experts project that by 2030 renewable sources will cover up to 30% of gross final consumption. Various industrial sectors will play distinct roles in achieving these targets, with projections indicating 55.4% in the electricity segment, 21.6% in transport, and 33% in heating.
