Improve Load Demand Forecasting using Synthetic Load Profiles: Smart meter energy consumption data holds great potential for Load Demand Forecasting. Both grid operators and energy suppliers could greatly benefit from having full access in order to improve optimise the rid, align supply and identify new commercial opportunities. Smart meter data however is often extremely difficult to access as it contains privacy sensitive information about individual households. In this presentation we will share with you how synthetic load profiles can be used to overcome this challenge and improve Load Demand forecasting.
