Yuri Rassega
Since June 2016, Yuri Rassega has been Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Enel group.
Yuri is in charge of managing the full range of IT, OT, and IoT Cyber Security.
He joined the Enel group in 2001 as head of the ICT function (CIO) at Enel Hydro SpA, then he headed the Group's ICT Global Audit Function then he headed the Global ICT Solution Center, AFC, HR, Procurement and Holding Functions.
Before working in Enel, Yuri Rassega served, with various responsibilities, in the ICT industry, including the development of systems in the banking sector, TELCO & ISP, ERP, SCADA, ACS, and ICS solutions for several clients.
His experience spans a diverse array of roles, including software development, electronic design, consultancy, entrepreneurial ventures, and senior management positions.
He is member of some institution’s expert WGs such as those sponsored by EU authorities and forums, G7, G20, WEF-World Economic Forum (with 6 publications), CIGRE.
He contributes to education by serving as an adjunct professor and subject-matter expert at universities and business schools, as well as delivering numerous lectures at both civil and military academies.
He is a founding partner of national “Accademia di Ingegneria e Tecnologia” - Italy.
He is a founding partner and Chairperson of AssoCISO, National Chief Information Security Officer Association - Italy.
Since the early 2000s, he has been actively involved in numerous international conferences across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia. He contributes as a speaker, panel chair, and member of the Advisory Board on topics including cyber security, digital transformation, and wireless communications technologies.
Yuri is also an inventor, he thought up of some digital fraud-detection tools and methods patented in Europe, the USA, and some Latin American countries.
