Pedro Rocha Almeida is the Business Unit Manager of Energy Management and Technology at Smart Energy Lab. With 15 years of expertise in the Energy sector, he has held various roles across the value chain, from utilities to technology supplier in Belgium and the United Kingdom.
Earlier in the academia, Pedro distinguished himself as a researcher, with over forty peer-reviewed papers and five book chapters.
Pedro holds an Executive MBA from Porto Business School, a PhD in Sustainable Energy Systems from MIT Portugal, and an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Porto.
