I was born in Milan, where I graduated in Electrical Engineering from "Politecnico di Milano" and where I live with my beautiful family. 
I’ve spent the first part of my career in e-distribuzione (Enel's Italian Distribution System Operator) with roles of increasing complexity and responsibility.
In 2013 I decided to throw myself headlong into a new adventure: new unity (Global I&N Business Development) and new geography (Saudi Arabia & GCC countries). To work in countries with so marked cultural differences has been very interesting and enriching.
Once back in Italy, I held the Network Operations unit of Lombardy, the most important region of Italy with 4,6 mln customers, managing grid infrastructures and all the related activities (maintenance, investments for network development and resilience, operations etc.).
In 2018, appointed head of O&M metering unit, I've passionately followed the first steps of the second generation of Italian smart meters, called Open Meter, and of the new AMI architecture.
In September 2021 I was appointed Head of Smart Meter and accessories unit in the newborn Gridspertise, to follow the design and development of new cutting-edge Metering solutions to meet the needs of DSOs at global level and enable innovative services for all the stakeholders of the energy market.
