Laia is a projects officer at E.DSO. She completed her studies in Energy and Climate Law in 2021 and she has been working in the energy sector since then. She began her career at the Groningen Centre of Energy Law and Sustainability where she worked as a researcher in the field of energy law and policy. During her research, she specialized in renewable energy integration into the distribution grid and the creation of positive energy districts. Through this experience, Laia gained valuable insights into key challenges related to consumer engagement on the energy transition and interoperability between white goods, consumers and the grid. Laia is also a qualified lawyer who has successfully passed the Spanish bar exam. Her combined experience in law and the energy sector gives her a solid foundation to manage the complexities of the European energy landscape.
