Christian Grenz is a pioneer in the energy transition field, known for his remarkable contributions and dedication to advancing clean, cheap and reliable energy markets. With a career spanning over 28 years, Mr. Grenz has established himself as a leading energy market & financing expert and a respected voice in the community. Mr. Grenz has an electrical engineer background with a subsequent degree in international business administration. His academic background laid the foundation for a career characterized by entrepreneurial spirit, out-of-the-box-thinking, and a commitment to excellence. 

Throughout his professional journey, Christian Grenz has held several key positions, including leading roles in developing, structuring and financing energy projects in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. His work has been instrumental in driving the energy transition, and he has been recognized with numerous awards, including his contributions in two international competitions: One made jointly by the association of wind energy in Europe (WindEurope) and the European Academy of Wind Energy (EAWE) on the “future market design and wind power system integration” and the other one made jointly by the association of the electricity industry in Europe (Eurelectric) and the Florence School of Regulation (FSR) on the “design of the European electricity market(s) of future”.
