Dr. Beatriz Alonso received the Industrial Engineer and PhD degree from the Polytechnic University in Madrid, Spain. At Iberdrola she has been responsible for different activities related to investment planning, transmission and distribution network planning, in Spain and during 5 years in USA, including the development and ongoing review of Non-Wire Alternative process. Currently she works at i-DE (Iberdrola) in the department of DSO role, involved in demonstration projects as OneNet, Coordinet and BeFlexible developing the strategy for Future Utility Transformation.
