Tony is Chairman of the Board of Directors for the DLMS User Association - a non-profit standards development organisation founded in 1997 by leading utilities and meter manufacturers. Tony has worked in the smart metering and smart grid space for over 20 years holding positions in Manufacturing Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing. Currently working for Itron within the Strategic Standards division of Technology and Research, Tony holds several leadership and participatory positions within various trade associations, Industry groups and standards development organisations, at National, European and International level. Tony holds professional engineering and marketing qualifications and is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Marketer.
