Csinszka Bene
Csinszka Bene is a consultant in Energy and Climate policy, specializing in the decarbonisation of energy infrastructure, sectoral regulation, financing, and market design. She brings diverse perspectives from advocacy, business and consulting, which complement her MSc studies in Environment and Resource Management.
She led and contributed to various projects in the energy sector related
to market regulation and policy, infrastructure and financing, and the socio-economic impacts of the energy transition for client such as the European Commission's DG ENER, DG REFORM, the Energy Community and ACER.
In a relevant study (Energy Transition Expertise Centre study on hydrogen imports and storage) for DG ENER she helped assess the role of hydrogen imports and storage in the EU by 2030, looking at supply gaps and possible options for cost-effective renewable hydrogen carrier imports to the EU and respective transport infrastructure, in different supply scenarios. In two recent studies, she is looking at infrastructure development and readyness of some major hydrogen producers and importers in the in CWE and the Baltic regions, mapping their potential for renewable and low-carbon gas deployment their infrastructure related policy landscape.
