The company NME is one of the oldest Italian companies acting as industrial consultant.

Its activity started in 1887 with the company name “MOLTRASIO”, then NUOVA MOLTRASIO ENGINEERING later shortened into NME.

From the original textile field, the company entered the Energy sector in the 1950s by becoming agent of the company KK&K in Frankenthal.

For over 70 years, NME has been active in the energy sector, being agent of leading manufacturers of machines and equipment such as steam turbines (HOWDEN TURBO formerly KK&K), gas turbine packages (CENTRAX GAS TURBINES) and ORC - Organic Rankine Cycle systems (Dürr Systems AG).

Over time, NME has expanded its presence in the Power Generation and Cogeneration sector by becoming the agent of manufacturers of auxiliary components and equipment, such as duct burners (DE JONG COMBUSTION and R&V ENGINEERING), diverters and complete bypass systems (BALTEC IES), dampers for hot gases (Aplicaciones para control de fluidos, S. L. - FCA), heat recovery units (Struthers EP), water condensing systems (Helmes Maschinenbau GmbH), electric motors and generators (Lloyd Dynamowerke GmbH - LDW) and white metal bearings (Osborne Engineering Limited – OEL).

NME's staff consists of engineers with many years of experience in the main industrial sectors and administrative personnel with in-depth technical knowledge, able to support clients in the most widely spoken foreign languages and relying on an extensive network of partners and product specialists throughout the country.

The company offers a qualified technical and commercial service ranging from consultancy in the design phase to the determination of investment costs and feasibility calculations. Customer support does not end with the sale of machines, but continues during the order development and after-sales service stages.

Included in its range of provided tasks is to offer basic and detailed engineering activities to manage technical issues and simplify the exchange of information between customer and supplier.
