Garderos was founded in 2002 and is a manufacturer of ruggedised routers for utilities (gas, electricity, water network operators). Utility network operators like using Garderos routers especially for our manageability at scale, and, for our level of cyber-security. Our central router management server is based on an Open-Source HTTPS/Application-Server and it manages the firmware images and configuration files for the remote routers. In that way, the Utility has 100% visibility of the configuration and firmware of each and every router installed in the field. To maintain a high level of Cyber-Security, we have developed automated software for daily checking of Public CVE (common vulberabilities and exposures) lists, to ascertain whether the Garderos Router Operating System is affected and if yes, develop security updates. Our central router management server can be integrated with an existing Inventory/Asset Management System. Finally, we have a Modbus-RTU interface (RS485) on the router so we can read serial data directly from a sensor (example: Power Quality Meter) and convert the data to MQTT or IEC-104 messages. As we are very Utility-focussed, we are open to your customising requests to develop new features.
