De Pretto Industrie is an Italian turbomachinery manufacturer. The company was established in 1885 and for more than 80 years has been part of leading global organizations. De Pretto Industrie is today an independent company acting as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for new steam turbine generator sets up to 50MW but also as an Independent Service Provider (ISP) of any rotating equipment manufactured by any OEMs in the market thanks to its reverse engineering capabilities and its technical dept of 30+ engineers covering all key domains (thermodynamic/construction/instrumentation/system).
De Pretto Industrie has extensive engineering competence in repair and revamps of turbomachinery, developing customized solutions for each product and make. One stop solution provider for any rotating equipment, repair in emergency situations, OEM-equivalent warranties as well as cost and lead time advantages are the main benefits we can provide to our customers.
Innovative thinking is applied to manufacturing and upgrading of turbomachinery control systems according to the highest market standards, latest normative and best practices. We usually follow a customized and tailor made approach for all our projects, bringing lower capital and operating expenditures (CAPEX and OPEX) to end-users.
Today De Pretto Industrie can countscount on 200+ employees, a 30.000 sqm internal workshop and a Special Projects Business unit specialized in the developmentdesign and supply of tailor-made mechanical equipment for a wide range of industrial applications (offshore, subsea, nuclear,…). In 2023 De Pretto Industrie’s footprint expands further with the opening of a branch with offices and a fully equipped workshop in Abu Dhabi, EAU, to intensify its presence and optimize service activities in the region for the Oil and Gas and Power Industry assets.
In addition, in 2024 the company establishes De Pretto Industrie Maroc, a Moroccan subsidiary created to manage an important multi-year turnkey project including the supply of a 17MW17 MWe turbogroup and extra services for a major Moroccan customer.
