BRIDGE and ETIP SNET are initiatives from the European Commission. BRIDGE unites Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe smart grid, energy storage, islands, and digitalization projects to create a structured view of cross-cutting issues of importance in the demonstration of smart grids and energy storage solutions. Through collaboration and knowledge sharing amongst four Working Groups, BRIDGE aims to accelerate the deployment of innovative technologies and contribute to a sustainable energy future. ETIP SNET is created as part of the new integrated roadmap Strategic Energy Technology plan (SET Plan). It brings together a multitude of stakeholders and experts from the energy sector. The role of ETIP SNET is to guide research, development & innovation through reporting on the implementation of such activities at European, national/regional and industrial level and identifying innovation barriers.
