The Alliance for the Energy Transition (ATE) is driving innovation in Portugal's energy sector with a focus on decarbonization, digitalization, and democratization. ATE enhances competitiveness and resilience of 80 entities of the entire chain value, through six main areas: decarbonization, reindustrialization, digitalization, decentralization, sustainable mobility, capacity building and business aceleration. By aligning with the Carbon Neutrality Roadmap 2050, ATE aims to increase the use of renewable energy, introduce new and innovative products and services and significantly reduce until 3,4 mill tons of CO2 emissions. It expects to boost economic growth with a 550 million euros increase in business volume and create approximately 700 jobs by 2027.
